If you know me very well then it will be no surprise that I chose PINK and GREEN for my wedding colors. After all, pink and green are my two favorite colors. I have been picking things out for the look that I want and it's been very fun deciding on the projects that Mom and Courtney get to help me with. I also went to Stanley Korshak and tried on wedding dresses and decided on the fit that I want. We can't discuss that too much here because Brian reads my blog. You'll just have to wait to see the dream dress I'll be making. Here are some points of inspiration for our big day.
I love manzanita!!! Brian thinks it looks a little Dr. Seuss but I think it makes beautiful centerpieces. I'm going to assemble my trees and paint them and then have the florist put the flowers and moss on the centerpieces.
I also want some low centerpieces. I love the idea of the moss directly on the table. I don't want mason jars as my candle holders, however. When Courtney got married mom and Jeanette collected wine glasses at every garage sale and junk shop around and Courtney used them as candle holders at her reception. Since then every girl on the Creech side of the family has used those glasses at their wedding. I can't be the one to break the chain so I would like to use the wine glasses instead of the jars in an arrangment similar to this. And I would replace the orchids with the flowers I'm using.
I love green hypericum berries mixed with pink blooms. I want bouquets with various shades of pink roses and ranunculus.
